Starbucks Happy Hour, Business Cards and Entrepreneurial Dreaming
Anyone who knows me will be surprised to find out that I have not yet taken advantage of this amazing offer yet. But I am making a date with Starbucks this weekend. While I would usually consider myself more of an iced latte or black coffee kinda gal, something tells me a little Frappuccino boost will get me into a web designing frenzy!
Speaking of which, I’ve been working on a new personal portfolio website. I can’t wait to delete that disgusting “coming soon” placeholder on my homepage once and for all! Along with creating a branded website, I’ve been brainstorming ideas for business cards. I stumbled upon a really cool business card design last week and I thought it was super creative! The article 30 Design Tutorials For Creating Professional Business Cards site also has a bunch of cool ideas for business cards. Some are a bit over the top in my opinion, but it definitely helps get my mind thinking outside of the box.

Kickstarter.com is another cool site that has got my juices flowing. It just makes me wanna jump up and become an entrepreneur. I have the too-full-plate disease where I take on new projects before I finish the ones I’ve already started. My goal of becoming a full-time freelance web designer is entrepreneurial in a way, I suppose. But I’m not sure I can get people to invest in that project… hopefully clients will!
