Shopping For A Good Cause!

So it turns out, raising $1800 dollars isn’t as easy as it seems. And that is precisely why I start fund raising really early. I am participating in the Avon Walk that takes place in Washington, D.C. during the first weekend of May. That gives me approximately three months to raise the remaining $1180. Don’t worry – that doesn’t mean 3 more months of emails from me. I’ve been brainstorming other ways to get people excited about donating.

My friend, Debbie, and I put our heads together and decided to make some cute tote bags that we are giving away for a minimum donation of $15.

Here is the first batch:

By purchasing a tote bag, you are doing more than donating to a good cause – Use these when doing your grocery shopping and help reduce the amount of plastic and paper bags you consume.

Want One?

If you want a tote bag, all you have to do is donate at least $15 to the Avon Walk.  Please make sure to enter your address in the donation form so I will know where to send it.  Keep in mind that these bags are handmade and one of a kind.  This means that I cannot guarantee that you will get a particular bag, but please let me know if there is a specific type you want and I will try to send you that one.

Spread The Word

If you like these bags, or know someone who would, please help out by telling your friends about them.   Click the “share this” button to post this article to facebook, digg, etc.  Thanks for your help!
