World's Largest Lime

The other day my friends and I were strolling down the street and happened upon a lime tree. Considering we were already lugging a case of beer back from the store and had forgotten to get limes (like usual), our first thought was to grab a couple. As we were harvesting Shane shouts, “Dude oh my god!” Of course, I instinctually freak out thinking there is a giant spider getting ready to attack me. But instead, I looked inside the tree where Shane’s finger was pointing to see one of the most glorious things I have ever seen…what I am convinced is the world’s largest lime. I cannot begin to explain the extent to which my seratonin levels soared, nor why the sight made me so happy. But I definitely had a skip in my step the entire way home. Later that night we decided to cut open the gorgeous monstrosity to check out the inside. We also measured the thing in case we ever need it for the Guinness Book of World Records.
